Founder Mums Club – Membership Terms & Conditions

It’s important to us that you are completely clear from the outset the way in which we will deliver our services to you. If you are planning to join Founder Mums, (“the Membership”) then you must read these terms and conditions in full prior to purchasing.

 

Membership Terms: Key Details

The terms cannot be varied and in proceeding to purchase the Membership you will be deemed to have accepted these terms. The terms and conditions set out below apply to the services offered by Founder Mums. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the terms under which Founder Mums (“we”, “our” or “us”) provide services to you, as purchaser of the membership. These terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which we are bound and which cannot be waived by contract.

 

Membership Outline

Founder Mums is a membership platform for mums in business who want connection, support, accountability and encouragement as they grow their businesses.

The membership is an ongoing commitment where you can access community, networking opportunities, expert guidance, learning opportunities and wellbeing support designed to help you navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship alongside family life.

The membership is designed for mums who are running, starting or growing a business and who value connection, collaboration and learning from others on a similar journey. Founder Mums welcomes members from a wide range of industries, sectors and stages of business growth.

The membership may not be suitable for those seeking bespoke business consultancy, one-to-one coaching, legal, financial or other professional advice. The information, resources and support provided through the membership are general in nature and are not tailored to any individual business or circumstances.

Membership Specifics

The Membership currently includes the following elements:

  1. i) Weekly connection sessions;
  2. ii) Monthly expert-led learning sessions;

iii) Monthly wellbeing sessions;

  1. iv) Access to the Founder Mums online community;
  2. v) Inclusion in the Founder Mums member directory (subject to the Member providing the required information);
  3. vi) Access to the Founder Mums resource library, including recordings, resources and other content made available to Members from time to time.

Connection Sessions

Founder Mums provides regular connection and accountability sessions designed to help members build relationships, share experiences, celebrate successes, discuss challenges and maintain momentum in their businesses.

Sessions may be facilitated by the Founder Mums team, approved community leaders, guest hosts or other representatives appointed by Founder Mums from time to time.

These sessions are community-focused and are intended to facilitate peer support and networking. Founder Mums does not guarantee individual coaching, mentoring or bespoke business advice during these sessions.

Expert-Led Learning Sessions

Founder Mums provides regular expert-led learning sessions covering a range of topics relevant to business owners, including marketing, sales, visibility, mindset, productivity, finance, public relations, business growth and wellbeing.

Sessions may be delivered by the Founder Mums team or by guest experts, speakers, coaches and consultants selected by Founder Mums. The format, frequency, duration and content of these sessions may vary from time to time.

Members may have the opportunity to ask questions during live sessions, however Founder Mums does not guarantee that all questions will be answered or that members will receive individual advice or support.

Wellbeing Sessions

Founder Mums may provide wellbeing, mindfulness and personal development sessions as part of the Membership. These sessions are intended for educational and wellbeing purposes only and do not constitute medical, psychological, therapeutic or mental health treatment.

Online Community

Members will have access to the Founder Mums online community platform and member directory. The purpose of the community is to provide a supportive environment for mums in business to connect, collaborate, seek support, share experiences and learn from one another.

From time to time, the Founder Mums team may participate in discussions and provide guidance within the community. However, Founder Mums does not guarantee a response to every post, question or request for support, nor does it guarantee response times.

Whilst Founder Mums will use reasonable efforts to maintain access to the community platform, directory and associated content, we make no guarantees as to their availability and reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of these services from time to time.

Resource Library

Members may be provided with access to a library of recordings, templates, resources, guides and other educational content. The content available within the resource library may change from time to time and Founder Mums reserves the right to add, remove or update resources at its discretion.

Access to recordings and resources is provided for the duration of an active membership unless otherwise stated.

Member Directory

As part of the Membership, Members may be eligible for inclusion in the Founder Mums member directory. Inclusion in the directory is subject to the Member providing the required information and complying with any directory guidelines published by Founder Mums from time to time.

Founder Mums does not guarantee that inclusion in the directory will result in enquiries, referrals, collaborations, sales, business opportunities or any other particular outcome.

Members are responsible for ensuring that any information they provide for inclusion in the directory is accurate, up to date and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Founder Mums reserves the right to edit, remove or refuse directory listings that are incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate or inconsistent with the values and purpose of the Founder Mums community.

 

Behaviour

It is requested that at all times your behaviour towards others is polite and respectful. We will not be held responsible for the behaviour or actions of any other members. Should your behaviour be deemed offensive or inappropriate we reserve the right to remove you from the membership with immediate effect.

 

Disclaimers

The aim of the Membership is to provide connection, support, accountability, learning opportunities and access to a community of like-minded mums in business. Through expert sessions, resources, community discussions and wellbeing activities, Founder Mums seeks to provide information, encouragement and guidance to support members on their business journey. However, participation in the Membership does not guarantee any particular business, financial or personal outcome.

We make no guarantees or claims as to the success of any Member. Each individual, business and set of circumstances is unique. Any results achieved by other members should not be taken as a guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results.

All information, resources, discussions, recordings and guidance provided through the Membership are intended for general informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute bespoke business, legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice. You remain solely responsible for any decisions, actions or investments you make in relation to your business or personal circumstances.

Founder Mums shall not be responsible for any loss of opportunity, loss of profits, business losses, investments made, or any other loss or damage arising from your participation in the Membership or reliance on any information provided through the Membership.

Any wellbeing, mindfulness or personal development content provided through the Membership is intended for educational and wellbeing purposes only and should not be construed as medical, psychological, therapeutic or mental health advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you require medical or mental health support, you should seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.

We ask all Members to treat one another with respect and to maintain the confidentiality of information shared within the Membership. However, Founder Mums cannot guarantee the actions of Members and shall not be responsible for any disclosures, statements, conduct or actions of Members within the community, directory, events or online platforms.

 

Contact and Schedule

It is the intention that the membership will run continuously and that any training material, live Q&As and live masterclass sessions will be provided as set out above. Should an unforeseen reason arise which cause a session(s) to be postponed they will be re-arranged as soon as possible.

Throughout the membership we will be available by email Monday to Friday between 9am to 3pm via tracey@foundermums.co.uk and will respond as soon as possible and within 36 hours during the hours stated.

If you have a technical query relating to accessing the membership please include “Tech” in the subject line of your email correspondence.

You may see us post on social media outside of our core hours. Not all of these posts are live and some will be pre-scheduled. We are passionate about supporting everyone in the membership and where we can we may respond to you out of hours but we make no guarantees that this will always be possible.

 

Payment Terms

The cost of the membership is set at the time you subscribe. On subscription you will agree to monthly payments via Kajabi which will be taken on the same day each month.

The annual membership subscription is for a fixed 12 month period following that you can leave at any point. If you do leave and re-join at a later date, you will lose the membership rate on which you are currently subscribed and whilst we would be happy to welcome you back, the membership fees may have increased]. OR

The monthly membership subscription is entirely flexible. Once you have paid your monthly fee you will gain access to all of the membership benefits. Should you wish to cancel you can do so through your online portal/please email us and we can support you in cancelling your subscription. Should you seek to cancel the subscription close to the billing period renewal date you may still be charged for a further month during which you can continue to use the benefits of the membership.

 

Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy and protection of your personal data is important to us. Your personal data is protected as set out in our privacy policy which can be found here.

We utilise Kajabi to manage our communications with you and from time to time may utilise the Facebook Pixel analytics tool.

During the course of the membership you may have access to confidential information, in particular the personal affairs of others on the course. In accepting these terms, you agree that you will not use or disclose to any person, organisation or company, and shall use your best endeavours to prevent the publication of, any confidential information relating to any other member.  

You accept that any unauthorised disclosure of personal or confidential information belonging to another may amount to immediate dismissal from the membership. Should you decide to leave the Membership then you remain bound by the confidentiality and privacy obligations.

 

Refunds and Cancellation

It is our aim that you will be completely happy with the Membership and find educational content, networking opportunities and form friendships. However, we appreciate that there may come a time when you wish to leave the Membership.

In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel and obtain a full refund within 30 days from the date of subscription. Refund requests should be made in writing to tracey@foundermums.co.uk and a full refund will be provided within 14 working days.

There is no obligation on us to refund any amounts paid where cancellation requests are made following the 30 day cancellation period.

Should you wish to cancel your membership you can do so at any time.

We reserve all rights to cancel the programme for any reason without prior notice. In such circumstance a refund will be provided for the remainder of that month as applicable.

 

Intellectual Property

During your time as a member you will be provided with course materials. At all times the intellectual property rights and copyrights connected with those materials remain with us. You have the right to use the materials as learning tools but you are not permitted to duplicate or provide copies to third parties. We retain and reserve all of our copyrights.

 

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the programme this should be made to made in writing to Tracey at tracey@foundermums.co.uk 

 

General

We intend to rely on the written terms set out in these terms and conditions for the services that we provide to you in delivery of the membership. These written terms shall constitute the entire agreement between us.

Should there be any conflict between these terms and any membership hosting platform or payment gateway, these terms shall prevail.

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper operation of your service. Any changes will be notified to you as soon as possible.

If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any such modification or deletion shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter and proceedings arising out of the Membership.
