Tell us about your business

Stir It Up delivers vegetarian, family friendly meal kits to busy parents with little time!

What made you want to start your own business?

Essentially, ensuring that children are getting good nutrition. It was difficult with my daughter and I wanted to help other Mums get good food into their picky kids! We help busy parents get quick, easy-to-make, nutritious food into their children, regardless of how picky they are!

How do you manage the juggle of running your business around being a mum?

I'm not sure I've solved it! My children are 12 and 14 now, so need less of me.

 What’s one thing you’ve learned in your business that you wish you’d known sooner? 

Focus on marketing and PR. Networking is essential! I resisted for way too long and wish I'd done it sooner.

What’s your go-to Founder Mum life hack that saves you time or sanity? 

Delegate a bit (I need to do more) and fuss less about the kids.

What are your core values when it comes to your business?

Having a business that is ethical and sustainable and really making a difference to the families we feed.

 Why did you join the Founder Mums Club? 

It's lonely working on your own- I miss people to bounce ideas off

What do you love about being a member of the Founder Mums Club? 

It's very helpful for business and I love the social elements!

What has been your biggest lesson and what's your advice for other Founder Mums?  

Get out there and talk, talk talk! Networking is everything
